JACK MA
Jack Ma was born in a poor family when China's cultural revolution was as its peak, as a teenager he used to guide tourists for free just to improve his English. He knew that the only way he could get rid of poverty was through education so, he started applying for different colleges but got rejected from each of them. He also applied for Harvard University got 10 times rejected after rejection, he told himself that " someday i should go teach there". His main struggle starts when he started applying for 30 different jobs and all he ever faced was plain rejection in 3 simple words " you are no good".
He also applied for a job at KFC, he was the only one who got rejected but all these rejection only made him stronger than he was.
" REMEMBER DON'T BE UPSET WHEN PEOPLE REJECT YOU.NICE THINGS ARE REJECTED ALL THE TIME BY PEOPLE WHO CAN'T AFFORD THEM "
In 1995, when internet was blooming, he got shocked when no result appeared from CHINA when he searched 'beer' and that's when he came up with an idea of an online marketplace "ALIBABA" . But even after starting Alibaba, he couldn't make it profitable and it was about to get bankrupt, ho he asked 17 of his friends to invest in his vision because he still believed in his idea and soon Alibaba became the largest e-commerce store in the world. Today, JACK MA is the richest man in China and has a net worth of billions.
Jack Ma's story teaches me that ' it's never too late to believe in yourself , Never lose hope"
IN HIS CAREER ADVICE SPEECH HE SAID.
" I was at first knew nothing about technology , i knew nothing about management but the only thing is, you don't have to know a lot of things, you have to find the people who are smarter than you are. For so many years, i always tries to find the people smarter than i am and when you find so many smart people, my job is to make sure that smart people can work together and then if smart people can work together it is easier. The vision you believe. Because stupid people can work together easily, smart people can never work together!. He also said , when you are 20 to 30 years old, you should follow a good boss. Join a good company to learn how to do things properly. When you are 30 to 40 years old, if you want to do something yourself, just do it. You still can afford to lose, to fail. But when you are 40 to 50 year old, my suggestion is that you should do things that you are good at. Not do something that's very interesting, i want to try something new. it's a bit dangerous when you are 50 to 60 years old, spend time training and developing young people, the next generation. When you over 60 years old you'd better stay with your grandchildren."
"WE ALL LEARN LESSONS IN LIFE.SOME STICK,SOME DON'T. YOU WILL ALWAYS LEARN MORE FROM REJECTION AND FAILURE THAN FROM ACCEPTANCE FROM SUCCESS"
